Barney Owl, along with his friend Ozzie Owl are Sheffield Wednesday's official mascots and in attendance at all home matches - as well as several other events!
Barney's Buddies
What a great opportunity for your child to enjoy the thrill of running down the tunnel onto the hallowed turf at Hillsborough Stadium on a match day with Sheffield Wednesday's mascot Barney Owl. As Barney's Buddy you will receive a SWFC pennant, one adult and one child ticket for the South Stand.
On arrival at Hillsborough you will be greeted by Barney Owl and taken on a tour of the dressing rooms. On completion of the tour you will be invited to join your fellow supporters in the Members Bar which is located in the Riverside Suite. Where food and pay bar facilities are available.
The package includes:
- Greeted by Barney Owl.
- A SWFC signed pennant signed by the first team.
- Tour of the dressing rooms.
- Run down the tunnel, kick about on the pitch during the player's warm up session.
- One Adult and one Child match ticket (South Stand).
- A complimentary match day programme.

*This package is for children between the ages of 4 to 12 years of age who must be accompanied by an adult. Children wishing to wear the home kit are kindly requested to wear it on arrival. Children are kindly required to wear none slip trainers or football boots whilst on the pitch. Places are restricted to five children per home game so book early to avoid disappointment. Payment is required on booking this package.

Child Membership
Children aged 16 and under can become an official member for next season for just £15 and benefit from the following:
- One free club comic
- One eco-friendly drawstring bag
- Entry into money-can't-buy prize draws (details to follow)
- The chance to be one of Barney's Buddies at a home game
- 500 TeamCard points (equivalent to £5 to spend with SWFC)
- Ozzie Owl lanyard and pin badge
Fans can sign up to the official Membership scheme online or by downloading an application form and sending it into the club.
Supporters should note that there will be no Student or Barney Army Memberships for the 2009/10 season; these have been rolled into the adult and child memberships at the reduced prices above.
