Based at Middlewood Road, the Wednesday Training Ground has undergone extensive redevelopment in recent years.

New facilities for the players and manager were completed in early 1998, providing modern changing rooms, showers, dining facilities and offices. Later in the year a new artificial playing surface was installed, to add to the three grass pitches already in place - and new 60m x 40m indoor training area opened in autumn 2002.

Wednesday are hoping to move to a larger training ground in the near future and, to that end, are currently considering selling the Middlewood Road site to a property developer.
