Club Still Affected By Floods

Posted on: Mon 02 Jul 2007

As of Monday morning (July 2), Sheffield Wednesday's ticket office and club superstore at Hillsborough remained closed due to last week's floods.

Damage to ticketing systems and the necessity to replace flooring within the superstore and ticket office areas means that these parts of the club are unlikely to be up and running until later in the week. Once any developments on this situation are clear we will bring you news first on the official website - swfc.co.uk

Meanwhile, the club is operational from its main offices, with administrative, commercial and football departments all fully functional. The club is also able to field telephone calls now, following the flood disruption.

We apologise to Owls fans for any inconvenience and would like to thank all supporters who have made offers of help.  However due to the nature of the problems caused by the flood, specialists are required for the clear-up operation.

The club would also like to thank its behind-the-scenes staff for their sterling efforts over the past week.

WednesdayWorld has been restored to full service and has exclusive interviews with Brian Laws and Lee Bullen on the squad's return to training, Sean McAuley on the first year academy players starting their scholarship and operations manager Alan Roberts on the post-floods clear-up.
