Sheffield Wednesday's home pre-season friendly against Birmingham City on August 4 (3pm kick-off) will go ahead with work set to get underway on re-laying a new pitch.

Following last week's floods the club have been working hard to repair damage to the stadium. With new turf due to be installed, the club has been assured that the playing surface will be ready for the club's only pre-season friendly at Hillsborough.

However, due to damage caused to some of the stadium's buildings, certain services and facilities may not be available in time for this fixture. More information on this will be made available in due course.

In the mean time, the Ticket Office and Superstore at Hillsborough remain closed until further notice and we will bring you more news on these facilities as soon as we have it. Due to damage to ticketing systems the club is also unable to process orders for season tickets online at this time.
