North Stand May Be Closed For Blues

Posted on: Tue 10 Jul 2007

The Owls only pre-season friendly at Hillsborough, against Birmingham City on Saturday, August 4, may go ahead with the North Stand closed due to ongoing repair work.

Facilities on the ground floor of the North Stand were badly affected by the floods and, while workers are busy repairing the extensive damage around the ground, this section of Hillsborough may not be fully functional by the beginning of next month.

The match against Birmingham will go ahead but use of some facilities at Hillsborough may be limited for this game.

Full service across the whole stadium is likely to take months to resume but the club is confident that all general seating areas will be open for the first competitive match at Hillsborough on Sunday, August 19, against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Supporters are once again asked for patience during this time. The Ticket Office and Superstore remain closed at this point until further notice.
