Former Wednesday midfielder Burton O'Brien has joined SPL side Falkirk on a three-year deal.

O'Brien was released by Brian Laws this summer and now follows fellow ex-Owl Lee Bullen to the Bairns.

O'Brien told the official Falkirk website: "The facilities here are second to none. I think the club will first and foremost be pushing to get into the top six.

"But I would like to see us pushing to get a little bit higher than that."
