Former Wednesday goalkeeper Rob Burch has agreed to sign for League Two side Lincoln City.

Burch was released by Owls boss Brian Laws at the end of last season and will now to move to the Imps on a two-year contract.

Lincoln boss Peter Jackson said: "I've been chasing him since the end of the season and I've had to be very patient.

"Myself and Iffy Onuora couldn't have tried any harder to get him here in terms of selling the club to him. He rang me to tell me of his decision and I was just delighted."
