Owls midfielder Kenny Lunt has been loaned to former club Crewe Alexandra until the New Year.

Lunt signed for the Owls in the summer of 2006 from Crewe but has struggled to force his way into Brian Laws' first team thoughts recently.

Having had a spell with the Railwaymen on loan towards the end of the 2007/08 campaign, this is Lunt's second loan spell with the League One side and he will be at Gresty Road until January 3 under the terms of this loan.
