Owls winger Jermaine Johnson was a late substitute in his country's 3-0 win over Canada on Wednesday night in Kingston but the Reggae Boyz are unable to qualify for the 2010 World Cup due to Honduras' win over Mexico.

As a result, both Mexico and Honduras qualify for the next stage of the North, Central America and Caribbean qualifying campaign as the top two in the group with Jamaica third.

Johnson entered the action as an 82nd minute substitute for John Barnes side and should arrive back in the UK on Friday ahead of Wednesday's home clash against Coventry on Saturday.
