Steve Watson is looking for a three-point return at Hillsborough this weekend - but insists the Owls must address their away form in the bigger picture.

Wednesday have the most converse record in the country in terms of home and away pedigree, a stat that Watson says the team must address.

He exclusively told Wednesday World: "We need to end this hoodoo. We've won one big game away from home this season so we know we can do it.

"But we have a big game at home on Saturday. Then we go away on Tuesday to Blackpool, which would be the perfect time to get the win if we beat Coventry."

Maximum returns from both the Sky Blues and the Tangerines could propel the Owls back into play-off contention.

And Watson is predicting an entertaining affair against Coventry on Saturday as Wednesday head into another busy period of fixtures.

He said: "Coventry are a good side. I know their manager (Chris Coleman) quite well, his teams always play good football so we should be in for a good game.

"There are nine points to play for in a week, with two of the three games at home, so we could come out right back in the top six."
