You have been voting all week and the results are in!
Brian Laws' men have netted some great goals during 2008 and as usual it was up to you to choose your favourite one from the shortlist of ten (to see the goals again click here).
During the week we received thousands of votes but in the end only 0.10% separated first and second place.
Full back Tommy Spur and club captain Steve Watson netted their entries during live televised games at Hillsborough to book their place in the Goal of 2008 competition.
Watson's lob of Blade's keeper Patrick Kenny in front of a sell out crowd received 28.56% of the vote but it was the young defender's equaliser against Plymouth Argyle back in April that topped the table with 28.66% edging his captain into second place.
In form striker Marcus Tudgay rolled into third place with his powerful long range header at Blackpool's Bloomfield Road in November.
