Tommy Spurr has once again made it into the official Football League Team of the Week following Wednesday's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The young defender lead the Owls out as captain against the Eagles in the absence of skipper Richard Wood who missed out with a knee injury.

The victory over Palace got Wednesday back to winning ways after two consecutive defeats - a massive boost for Brian Laws' side with some tough encounters on the horizon in the shape of Burnley, Reading and Wolves.
