The Owls have won each of their last seven encounters against the Canaries, five of which were masterminded by Wilcox and boss Brian Laws.

And the number two is out for more of the same this weekend as SWFC go in search of the win that should all but secure the club's Championship status with five games still left to play.

He told Wednesday World: "We're really looking forward to it, the game is a sell-out and we have a fantastic record against Norwich.

"It's five wins out of five since me and the gaffer came in but Norwich won't be too concerned about that, they'll just be interested in one thing and that's the three points.

"They need the win to steer clear of the relegation zone but we need the win to take us back into the top half of the table."

Given the Canaries' desperate need for victory, Wilcox anticipates an open contest unfolding in Norfolk.

Norwich are traditionally an entertaining outfit and enter the game in a decent run of form with three wins and a draw from their last five contests.

But Wilcox is undaunted and insists that his side will be out to exploit any defensive gaps left by the hosts as they pursue the points required.

"I'm sure it will be an attractive game because a draw is no good for them," he reasoned. "Norwich really need to win their home games especially so we'll be expecting them to play expansive football but maybe they will leave gaps for us to exploit.

"It should be a very entertaining game."
