Sheffield Wednesday is pleased to announce finalised plans for the club's pre-season tour to Malta.

The Owls first team will fly to the Mediterranean island on Saturday, July 11 with evening matches against local opposition to take place on Monday, July 13, and Thursday, July 16. Sheffield Wednesday will depart Malta on July 18.

Through the club's tour operators in Malta, we are able to offer a variety of fan packages, all of which include tickets and transfers to both matches, a beach barbecue with the Sheffield Wednesday players and a new PUMA home shirt.

A variety of packages will be available. Flight and accommodation packages, start at £515 per person (adult price) including seven nights bed and breakfast with flights from Manchester or Birmingham. These prices include hotel transfers. Packages on offer include four choices of hotel, from three to five star.

Adult packages without flights and accommodation start from £105.

Both types of package are available with a premium upgrade including a VIP Gala Dinner with the team.

Packages with flights and/or accommodation
Fans wanting to book flights and/or accommodation for this tour should do so through Malta Direct, our chosen tour operator. These packages will be available online and through telephone sales from Wednesday, May 13.

Please note that packages with flights leaving from and returning to Leeds-Bradford Airport have to be booked on a fortnight-long package because there is only one flight per week from this airport. 


Packages without flights or accommodation
Supporters wanting to book the fan package only can arrange their own flights and accommodation independently. There are two packages available from Wednesday, May 13, as follows:

The Owls Package costs £105 per adult and £84 for under-13s includes:
• Tickets for two matches
• Transfers to both matches
• A beach barbecue with the first team players
• A 2009/10 SWFC home shirt

The Owls Plus Package costs £150 per adult and £108 for under-13s includes:
• Tickets for two matches
• Transfers to both matches
• A beach barbecue with the first team players
• A 2009/10 SWFC home shirt
• VIP Gala Dinner with the team
