Where will the matches be staged and how do I get to the stadium?
The matches will be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, Hamrun. All those booking a package will have included transfers to and from the match by official supporter transport. For those who book tickets only, you can either take a taxi or hire minibuses which may be booked by calling +356 2576 6000 - prices vary depending on number of persons in the party. For fans booking only the Fans packages (Owls and Owls Plus) and not the Malta Direct package, transport to and from friendly matches is provided ONLY from the Bernard and Intercontinental hotels . Fans need to make their way to these in order to catch transport to/from the match.
How do I claim my shirt through the Owls Packages?
When you book your Malta package, your details will be forwarded to Sheffield Wednesday and the club will dispatch your shirt accordingly (these will be mailed to UK addresses, not distributed in Malta). If you have booked a package through Malta Direct don't forget to fill in the Shirt Order Form - you will need to insert your booking reference number.
Are the Owls Packages available without the shirt?
The packages being offered all include a new PUMA 2009/10 SWFC home shirt. Fans can request not to have the shirt with their package but there will be no reduction in price.
When will the club events take place?
The VIP Dinner will be staged on July 14 and the beach barbecue will be on July 15.
What is the dress code for the VIP Gala Dinner?
This event will have a 'smart/casual' dress code - considering the weather, shirt and trousers would be preferable and suits may be uncomfortable!
Can children attend the VIP Gala Dinner?
Yes.
What is included in the beach barbecue?
All food is included in this full standing buffet barbecue - a cash bar will be available for drinks.
Is there a dress code for the beach barbecue?

Where are the hotels offered in the package tours situated?
All of the hotels are in the Paceville district of St Julian's, all hotels are within ten minutes walk of each other. Each hotel will have an Owls Hospitality Desk situated in the lobby and representatives will be on hand to assist all supporters in the resort.
Do discounted child prices for the Owls Packages include the same as the adult prices?
Yes, the difference in price reflects the lower prices for meals.
Why do the flight and accommodation packages offered extend until August 15 when Sheffield Wednesday leave on July 18?
This is simply the time band in which that price is available. The tour operator will confirm the price of your package on application, which will depend on your arrival and departure dates in Malta.
Will the team be on my plane?
No unless they book on the same flight from Manchester on the 11th or 18th.
If I organise my own flights and/or accommodation, who is my point of contact in Malta for the fan packages?
The point of contact for fan packages in Malta is Alpine Sterling Travel and Tourism, Naxxar Road, San Gwann - Tel +356 2576 6000. There will also be an office at the Hotel Bernard between from July 12 to July 16 providing any information or assistance you may require.
What is Malta like as a holiday destination?
All information regarding Malta can be found at www.visitmalta.com but what you will find is one of the friendliest islands in the Mediterranean. Most natives speak good English and there is a strong connection with Great Britain that dates back from the early 1800s. British people are always very welcome and you will find a vast array of amenities on the island to suit all tastes, from beaches, sun and sea to historical places of interest, everything can be found within easy distances of each other due to the size of the island. You will find Malta to be typically southern European but with some very familiar similarities to the UK.
What currency is used in Malta?
The Euro. There are many currency exchange bureaus available, we recommend using the bureau at Fexco (Malta) Ltd. This can be found at the Hotel Bernard, St Georges Bay, St Julian's.
