Spring Bank fun with the Owls

Posted on: Wed 20 May 2009

Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme is pleased to announce their forthcoming spring football sessions, to be held at the club's Middlewood Road training ground.

The sessions, which run from Tuesday, May 26, are open to boys and girls aged from five to 15 and promise to be lots of fun!

SWFC Community manager, Marcus Brameld, said: "These camps are a great way to get kids outside and exercising in the fresh air. It also gives them a chance to come down to the training ground and see a bit more behind-the-scenes that you wouldn't normally see as a fan.

"It also gives us a chance to look at the young talents in the region, I'm always proud to mention that first team midfielder Luke Boden was spotted at our training sessions, so it'd be great to find the next big star!"
