Additional information

Shirt availability
Sheffield Wednesday's new PUMA shirts are proving to be the best selling Owls replica items for many years, with more than 7,500 home adult shirts sold to date. As a result we have limited numbers of adult sizes available in the Owls Megastore this weekend (no medium or XXXXL home shirts). Our eye catching yellow away shirt is also proving very popular though and there is plenty of stock available in all sizes.

Foundation Bar
Sheffield Wednesday would like to inform supporters that Owls Foundation members are now able to take guests into the 1867 Lounge on matchdays. There is an admission charge of £5 per guest and guests will be issued with a receipt of the equivalent value, entitling them to a £5 discount if they join the Owls Foundation (only one receipt can be redeemed per new member).

Foundation passes will be issued in the lounge tomorrow - members who do not attend the match against Nottingham Forest will have their passes posted out.

Beer on the kop
Sheffield Wednesday expect to be able to offer beer to supporters on The Kop for next Tuesday night's match against Middlesbrough. The club's application for a license to sell alcohol in this part of the ground has received no objections from the local authority and we hope to have the go-ahead for beer units on Monday.

Once these are installed the Safety Advisory Group will inspect them on Tuesday morning. We are confident this will allow the club to offer beer for the evening match against Boro and Sheffield Wednesday will confirm this position on the day (September 15).

In the mean time bottled beer is available in the North Stand with draught available throughout the South Stand.

coast to coast
Sheffield Wednesday will be hosting a matchday charity collection for Wednesdayite on Saturday when Nottingham Forest come to Hillsborough.
Wednesdayite's collection is in aid of a coast to coast bike ride in which former Owls players, David Hirst, and Phil King will be cycling from Grange over Sands on the West Coast to Filey on the East Coast.
Monies raised will be split two ways - partly to fund a mini-bus for Sheffield Wednesday supporters with disabilities and also help to raise money for a CT Scanner for The Children's Hospital, Sheffield. Newcastle United star John Beresford and several Wednesdayite fundraisers will be cycling on the ride, which takes place between September 22 and September 24.
