Grant disappointed with draw
Wednesday goalkeeper, Lee Grant, admitted his disappointment at coming away with a point from Saturday's match against Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough.
Grant, who was making his 200th career appearance, was called into action within the first minute, saving low from Joe Garner.
But moments later, Forest had their perfect start as an unmarked Dexter Blackstock glanced his header into the bottom corner from Paul Anderson's cross.
He said: "We didn't start right and they've got at us right from the whistle and unfortunately that resulted in an early goal for them. We clawed our way back after 15-20 minutes and got our goal but there weren't a lot of efforts after that really.
"We've come away from the game disappointed; we've huffed and puffed but not had as much end product as we've had over the past couple of weeks. We want to win all of our home games so there is disappointment in the changing room."
But Grant was also quick to praise Forest who made life difficult for Wednesday and ensured a frustrating afternoon for the Owls.
He went on: "Over the last few weeks, if anybody has been watching, we've played some really good stuff. Billy Davies has done his homework and they've done a good job against us today.
"They came here, made life difficult, upset the play and were delaying things but it worked so well done to them."
And finally on a personnel note, the Owls shot-stopper made his 200th career appearance on Saturday - a record of which the former Derby man is understandably proud of.
He said: "I'm very proud and now it's a case of keeping fit, staying consistent and doing enough to stay in the team week in, week out. It's certainly not a given that I will start every game - I have to work hard everyday and I'm no different to anybody else.
"With 200 games behind you, you have a certain amount of knowledge and you understand things better. The main word is consistency and then minimising those mistakes, which every goalkeeper will make, and keeping things ticking over."
