Chris Coleman's Coventry City come to town on Saturday and there will be plenty going on at Hillsborough on the matchday as Sheffield Wednesday aim to secure a win against the Sky Blues - below is all the essential information on the S6 matchday.
Early opening
Sheffield Wednesday is pleased to announce that Hillsborough's North and South Stands will now be open from 12.30pm onwards on all home Saturday matchdays.
The club has introduced early opening to enable supporters to enjoy the matchday experience for longer, with numerous activities planned pre-match with refreshment kiosks and bars on the concourse being open from the time turnstiles are opened.
Food and drinks kiosks in the South and North Stands will also be open until 6pm after the match.
Supporters should note that the Kop turnstiles will be open from 1.30pm as usual.
Blow your own trumpet!
Sheffield Wednesday is the first club in the country to stock vuvuzelas for its fans and the plastic trumpets, set to become a trademark of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, proved popular at our last game against Cardiff. Vuvuzelas are available from the Owls Megastore for £5 each.
New beer and food outlets
The club will be opening two new refreshment kiosks in the North Stand this Saturday - one for beer and one for food - there will also be a new range of pies available including Steak and Henderson's Relish and Vegetarian, alongside our established healthy options.
Don't forget there is now beer available on The Kop - the beer unit has proved very popular at our recent home matches and is located adjacent to entrance U, just off Penistone Road.

Retail units
There are now two additional matchday retail units at Hillsborough. As well as the Owls Megastore, we now have units selling merchandise behind the North Stand, near to the entrance from Leppings Lane (North West corner) and behind the South Stand near the Penistone Road entrance.
One Game One Community
Saturday is Sheffield Wednesday's day of action for the Kick It Out 'One Game, One Community' campaign - for full details click here.
Matchday events
Our events team will be providing a range of activities on the pitch, starting at 1.45pm with a small-sided match organised by the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme. The club's new dance team, Lady Owls, will be on the pitch before the game and there will also be a Pavarotti tribute band playing before kick-off, plus a full events programme at half time.
Back The Bid
As part of Sheffield's bid to be a candidate host venue for the 2018 World Cup, Sheffield Wednesday will be distributing 'Back The Bid' car stickers from all club car parks and the Wednesdayite car park - they will also be available from the Owls Megastore. Don't forget you can text SHEFFIELD to 62018 to show your support (messages charged at your standard network rate) or visit www.sheffield2018.co.uk
Food for away fans
The club will be offering supporters of Coventry City the opportunity to buy food to take away from the match on their long journey home. Sky Blues supporters should check out the kiosks on their way out.
Concessionary ticket checks on turnstiles
In the mean time Sheffield Wednesday supporters should be aware that, following feedback from fans suggesting that a small number of adult supporters may have been attempting to enter the stadium on concessionary tickets, the club will be implementing turnstile checks for these ticket types.
As stated in the club's season ticket terms and conditions, the SWFC reserves the right to check ticket holders' entitlement to a concessionary ticket. This is not an exercise that the club wanted to implement but we feel this has become a necessity to ensure that concessionary tickets are used appropriately.
To this end, supporters gaining access to the stadium with concessionary tickets should bring a form of ID from the following list:
Driving Licence
Passport
Birth Certificate
Medical Card
Bus Pass
NUS (student) Card
HM Forces Card
We apologise in advance to anyone inconvenienced by this practise and thank supporters for their patience and understanding.
Supporters with concessionary tickets who do not provide ID at the turnstile will be turned away and will not be allowed entry unless they return with proof of identity. Supporters are advised that the ticket office will not deal with enquiries associated with ID checking on matchdays and these will be dealt with at the turnstile only.
