Midfielder Michael Gray is expecting to be available for action again sooner rather than later following his injury at Watford last week.
The 35-year-old sustained a minor hamstring strain but is not expected to be out of contention for long.
"I got scanned earlier in the week and the news was quite positive after coming off injured against Watford last week," Gray said. "You get graded one to three with one being ok and three being pretty bad. Mine is a grade one strain so that is good news. I shouldn't be out of action for long."
"Through my career I've had very few injuries so I am lucky really. It was the second season running I have picked up an injury at Watford though so someone obviously has a voodoo doll of me!"
Gray is a doubt for the trip to Bristol City but Brian Laws will be hoping to add Richard Wood and Leon Clarke into the mix following minor injuries.
Gray, whose latest blog is set to appear on the BBC Sport website later today (Thursday), added: "Hopefully, my injuries can stay at a minimum. It's not just about how you prepare for games but how you recover from training sessions and matches too. Ice baths and massages are important and stretching after games."
