Owls ace expects entertaining clash
Marcus Tudgay is tipping an entertaining contest at Hillsborough on Saturday when top-six occupants Queens Park Rangers visit S6.
The Owls and the R's are amongst the highest goalscorers in the Championship this term, bagging just one goal shy of 50 between them.
Tudgay concedes that QPR have the firepower to hit the Owls hard - but by the same token insists that Wednesday can be placed into a similar bracket.
He told Wednesday Player: "QPR pass the ball brilliantly, they have three or four players who could probably win games on their own. But we want to win this game as well and we have the players to do it as well.
"We have no intention of sitting back and letting them come onto us, they have a lot of key players that can cause damage if they are given time on the ball."
Tudgay is anticipating a less physical Rangers side compared to the team that came to Hillsborough last season. Ex-Owl Jim Magilton took the reins over the summer and quickly introduced a smooth, passing game into the Rangers ranks.
Tudgay added: "They were a more physical side last season, this year I think they play more of a passing game.
"I saw on the TV that QPR wanted to be in the Premiership in four years and they are now in year two. They are in the play-offs now so they're on the right track."
