Sheffield Wednesday captain Darren Purse says the fallout from Saturday's defeat at Reading has been addressed and the players are now moving on to what has become a huge clash with Leicester at Hillsborough on Saturday.
The Owls against the Foxes is the archetype top v bottom battle as both sides chase maximum points for converse reasons.
And Purse insists that everyone in the Wednesday camp is desperate to bounce back and right the wrongs from the Madejski Stadium.
Purse, who was sidelined for the Berkshire contest, exclusively told Wednesday Player: "Of course it was a disappointing result for the lads and they are all gutted about it as well as the fans. Even when you're not playing, it does hurt because we're all in this together at the end of the day.
"The fans, the manager, the players, we are all in it together and it's about trying to stick together during these hard times.
"Everybody was in first thing on Monday morning and we had a two and half hour meeting, we watched the whole game and it was about addressing the issues that came up in the game.
"There was some harsh words said afterwards and it wasn't just the lads who played at the weekend, there was the likes of myself, Lewis, JJ....we were all involved in the meeting.
"All the issues have been addressed from Saturday and the manager and training staff are now getting us out on the training pitch and doing the work that needs to be addressed from that last result.
"It's now about getting back to the way things were when we won four games from five when the gaffer first came in - and we know we can do it."
Manager Alan Irvine has targeted six wins from the 13 games remaining and Purse says the Owls are more than capable of achieving that aim.
He continued: "We're back to the same situation where we were when the gaffer first came in. We have got out of it before and we need to produce those kinds of performances again.
"It's going to be a massive job for everyone but if we can stick together and produce the performances we are capable of, then we can get out of this. I believe we can do it and I have no hesitation in saying that."
