Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant says the Owls owe it to the fans to get back to winning ways against Leicester on Saturday.
SWFC host the Foxes in a match billed as a huge game in Wednesday's fight from relegation, and shot-stopper Grant has expressed his eagerness to reward the fans for their support.
"It's more than fair to say that we owe them something and we owe the club something," he said.
"There comes a time and Saturday is that time for us to really have to stand up and be counted.
"Everybody out there on the pitch has to work hard to prove themselves, most importantly for the team, and that goes right from me up to the front two. It's time for everybody."
Wednesday have lost their last three games and lie in the relegation zone, while Leicester are unbeaten in eight as they continue their push for promotion.
The Foxes, under the guidance of ex-Owls skipper Nigel Pearson, have an attacking mentality but Grant is hopeful that his side can counter that threat.
"Obviously, their threats are going forward," he said. "You know the quality that Paul Gallagher possesses and he's shown that in the last few weeks.
"They break well from midfield with the likes of Andy King and Matt Oakley so we'll have a good game on our hands but hopefully we can combat their strengths."
Despite Leicester taking the tag of favourites ahead of the game, the Owls keeper believes the hosts can cause an upset.
He said: "We're well aware how big this game is and we know what form they're in. We know that people will be looking at this and thinking Wednesday are struggling slightly.
"But we're confident in ourselves that if we do the things being asked of us by the staff, we can get the right result.
"A clean sheet would be nice as well. It's obviously not the be-all and end-all, winning games and getting points is the most important thing."
