Sheffield Wednesday is pleased to announce that our collection for Help For Heroes at last Saturday's match against Leicester City raised a total of £1,847.36.
The Owls hosted the 72nd Engineers Regiment at the start of the Football League's Football For Heroes week, as part of the club's support for the League's decision to nominate the charity which supports British service personnel who are wounded in the line of duty.
As well as the ground collection made by independent fan group Wednesdayite, the club is also auctioning a range of unique memorabilia from the game including signed match-worn shirts emblazoned with the Help For Heroes logo and a commemorative football.
