Listen to live commentary with John Pearson

Posted on: Sun 02 May 2010

Must-win, do or die, winner takes all - the list goes on. This Sunday as the Owls take on Crystal Palace, all the clichés have been exhausted.

Wednesday know that a win at Hillsborough on Sunday (1pm kick-off) will keep them in the Championship at the expense of the Eagles.

The build-up has been as big as the uptake of tickets for this blockbuster fixture. Hillsborough is sold out for this crunch match but if you haven't got a ticket - then the best place to keep up with the action is on Wednesday Player.

Ex-Owls striker and Wednesday Player commentator John Pearson will be taking up his usual seat in the press box to give his expert match analysis, exclusive to Player subscribers.

Emotions will be running high in S6 but none higher than in the commentary box with Pearson and our in-house commentator Rob O'Neill.

Subscribers to 'Player' have been enjoying the best matchday coverage on 'Player' throughout the season.

As well as all the build-up interviews throughout the week - the service has truly come alive on matchday. First up this weekend at 12.30pm, we will have our usual half-hour build-up programme to the big match.

Then we move on to the match commentary, where our commentary team will call all of the action and read out your emails sent to yoursay@sheffieldwednesday.com

After the final whistle, as for all our home games, Player will be brining you all the post-match reaction from both camps. This will continue this weekend when Palace boss Paul Hart faces the press as well as Owls manager Alan Irvine.
