FREEVIEW: Benito Carbone EXCLUSIVE

Posted on: Mon 26 Jul 2010

Former Sheffield Wednesday star Benito Carbone was back in Sheffield on Sunday evening playing for the Owls in the Masters.

The erstwhile Wednesday favourite scored twice as the Owls made it to the final but narrowly lost out 2-1 to Barnsley at the last.

Carbone had a successful three-year stay at Hillsborough between 1996-99 making 96 starts and scoring 26 goals. The Italian forward is best remembered for his flamboyant style and memorable goals in England's top-flight for Wednesday.

Wednesday Player was at the Sheffield Arena to speak to Carbone and this EXCLUSIVE interview will be broadcast later this week. Watch a short preview of the video at the top right of the page.
