Posted on: Tue 03 Aug 2010

Sheffield Wednesday has opened its doors to supporters giving them the chance to watch the first team squad in action at Hillsborough.

The open training session saw more than 2,000 Owls fans flood into the North Stand to see Alan Irvine's players preparing for the first match of season against Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday.

Visitors were able to see the players complete a 90 minute training session with the Sheffield Wednesday band also providing entertainment from the Kop. Supporters were then invited to come pitchside and meet their favourite players and the manager for photographs and autographs.
