Strike the Bar back at Hillsborough

Posted on: Fri 20 Aug 2010

At every home game this season, selected lucky supporters will be given the chance to win a life-changing amount of money simply by hitting the crossbar from the half way line at half time.

Owls fan Tom Wraight was first up in the competition at Wednesday's opening league match against Dagenham & Redbridge and showed how difficult the challenge is.

Do you think you can do better?

As from this Saturday when the Owls host Brighton & Hove Albion, there will now be two supporters selected to take the challenge at every home match - each competing to win £50,000.

So do you fancy your chances of scooping the big prize? Why not visit strikethebar.com and win your chance to step on the hallowed turf at half time?

Remember, striking the bar will give the lucky supporter a huge prize of £50,000 but in the specially designed goal fill, there are three other holes to aim for - so even with a low daisycutter - you could still win prizes.

Tomorrow, Owls fans Timothy John Dyson and Robert Wild will be next-up attempting to strike the bar.
