Sheffield Wednesday v Southampton
18.04.09
The Championship
Hillsborough

Owls team news
Brian Laws will select from a similar squad that faced QPR on Easter Monday, other than striker Akpo Sodje. The frontman suffered a hamstring strain in training this week and will be sidelined for at least the next two games.

Meanwhile, Luke Varney will play his last game for the Owls as his loan deal from Derby County expires after the Saints clash.

At the back, Frank Simek will be pushing for a recall having been rested at Loftus Road.

Southampton team news
The Saints have no injury concerns and boss Mark Wotte could name the same side that beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at St Mary's on Monday.

Marek Saganowski could be pushing for a place up front having starting on the bench against the Eagles.

Long term absentees Michael Svensson (Achilles and knee) and Wayne Thomas (knee) will both be missing on Saturday.
