Yoann was signed for an undisclosed fee from Southampton in July 2006, following a successful four-month loan spell at Hillsborough during the 2005-06 season.
An athletic figure, the France under-21 international is a cultured player who can read the game well and uses the ball wisely. His favoured position is in the heart of midfield, although he also capable of operating on either flank.
Folly moved to England with Southampton in 2003, with the Saints paying St Etienne £250,000 for his services. He appeared in the Premiership for the South Coast club and has also had loan spells at Preston North End and Nottingham Forest.
