The 20-year-old goalkeeper made good progress during the 2008/09 season after a successful loan spell with Conference North side Gainsborough Trinity.
Following his return to the Owls, Jameson continued to impress and duly earned a new, one-year contract. The youngster has continued his education this term with spells on loan at Harrogate Town and Matlock Town.
After impressing in pre-season, Jameson was given a place on the bench in the Owls opening fixture against Dagenham & Redbridge.
