Sheffield Wednesday have today promised any supporter committing to a 2009/10 season ticket a Premier League season ticket at the same price if the club is promoted in any of the next three seasons.

This fantastic offer means that anyone who secures a season ticket for the coming campaign will pay next season's price if the Owls reach the Premier League at any point from 2010 to 2012.

By way of rewarding all of those who have already secured their season ticket for next season, the club has decided to give all supporters who commit during before July 31 with a price freeze for the first year back in the Premier League if promotion is won by 2012.

Sheffield Wednesday chairman, Lee Strafford, said: "We have been really encouraged by the uptake of season tickets so far this year and I am confident we can hit our target of 16,500, if not exceed it.

"As an extra incentive to join us for what we expect to be a very exciting season ahead, I am delighted that we are able to offer all fans who commit to a season ticket by the end of June a guarantee that they will be able to buy a Premier League season ticket at 2009/10 Championship prices if we win promotion by 2012.

Strafford continued: "I must remind our supporters that season tickets sold this month will go a long way to determining Brian Laws' football budget for the coming season. Brian has already made some very positive moves in the transfer market and we want to back him with the ability to bring in more high quality players but that can only happen if we meet our season ticket target."
