Supporters who have already purchased their season ticket for next season will be able to gain further reward for their loyalty.
2,000 TeamCard points - equivalent to a £20 spend on SWFC merchandise or products for adult season ticket referrals.
1,000 TeamCard points - equivalent to a £10 spend on SWFC merchandise or products for concessionary season ticket referrals.
All free season tickets are excluded from this offer.
Anyone can be referred as a 'friend' and as such will be able to buy their 2009/10 season ticket at the first renewal price (which expired on June 13) saving 20 per cent on matchday prices.
Sheffield Wednesday chairman, Lee Strafford, said: "First of all I must say a massive 'thank you' to all of our supporters who have committed to season tickets already. To have more than 12,000 season tickets sold already is a fantastic effort as it exceeds the total we had sold at the beginning of last season.
"It's important to remember that the best sales force we have for season tickets are Wednesdayites themselves. In recognition of this we want to reward both the people who have already bought season tickets and those who commit to season tickets in the coming weeks.
"This referral programme is a groundbreaking move for Sheffield Wednesday and if a season ticket holder refers enough friends he or she could end up in the position where they have effectively collected enough points to secure themselves a hugely discounted or even free season ticket for the following season!"

Simply fill in a normal Season Ticket Application Form and state the season ticket ID number of the person referring on the top of the form. This should be presented in person at the Owls Megastore or sent to the club address for the attention of the ticket office.
The refer a friend offer is available until July 31.
The fan achieving the most season ticket sales referrals will be invited to the first match of the season against Barnsley as a VIP guest of chairman, Lee Strafford.
