Sheffield Wednesday have secured an agreement to simplify ticketing arrangements for the match against Sheffield United on Sunday, October 19, as a result of ongoing dialogue between the club, South Yorkshire Police and the local Safety Advisory Group.

It has been agreed by all parties to revise the criteria for ticketing originally set out and the new arrangements for purchasing tickets for this fixture will be as follows:

Season ticket holders and members will be able to purchase one ticket from Monday, September 15.

General sale will start from Monday, September 22, to supporters registered with our sales database (any supporter who has bought tickets from SWFC in the past two years is contained within this database). These supporters will be eligible to purchase two tickets whilst tickets are available.

There will be no postal applications for tickets for this match with sales to personal callers and via telephone and internet sales only.

We would therefore urge supporters to buy tickets online or by telephone in order to avoid excessive queuing in the Megastore at Hillsborough.
