Sheffield Wednesday are pleased to announce that season ticket sales have now soared through the 11,000 barrier.

As of Wednesday 7 July at 10.00am, a total of 11,015 season tickets have been sold and the club would to thank Owls fans for their outstanding support ahead of the 2010/11 season.

The latest figures have come on the back of more key signings secured by Alan Irvine with Giles Coke, Gary Teale and Neil Mellor bolstering the Wednesday squad last week, making a total of seven new recruits so far.

There is, of course, plenty of time left to secure your seat for next season with a little over four weeks to go until the big kick-off against Dagenham and Redbridge at Hillsborough on Saturday 7 August.
