Sheffield Wednesday have been allocated an extra 500 tickets for the pre-season friendly against Grimsby on Saturday 17 July.

Tickets for the match at Blundell Park have been selling fast with almost 1,000 tickets already snapped up by Owls supporters.

The extra 500 tickets will be on sale by tomorrow (Friday 9 July) and Wednesday fans wishing to travel to Grimsby are urged to act quickly to avoid disappointment.

This will be the Owls final ticket allocation, of which any remaining tickets will be available on the day at the turnstiles.

Tickets will be on sale online at www.swfc.co.uk/shop, in the Owls Megastore and by calling 0871 900 1867 (£2 per ticket booking fee applies) until Wednesday 14 July at 23:59 and, should all tickets be sold, there will be no pay on the day at Grimsby.

A further announcement will be made next Thursday (15 July) on tickets being available at the turnstiles.
