The Owls Under-18s continued pre-season with a 2-1 win hosting Rochdale on Friday.

Wednesday came from behind to take the plaudits as a brace from the in-form Leojo Davidson secured victory.

The hosts took an early lead from their first attack seven minutes in when Morgan Moreland converted a deep Joe Wright cross at the back post.

Chances were few at both ends thereafter and possession essentially shared before the Owls levelled on the hour.

Joey Phuti showed nimble footwork to glide his way down the right and cut in to pick out Davidson, who controlled and finished with a curling drive.

And 15 minutes later, the comeback was complete as Davidson struck his third goal in two games, using power and pace to breeze past three challenges and smash into the top corner.
