The Owls Under-21s returned to winning ways at Barnsley on Friday afternoon.
Neil Thompson’s men came from behind to seal the win at Oakwell Training Ground.
A goal down inside the first six minutes with Amir Ariely guiding a bullet header past Luke Jackson, the visitors levelled five minutes from the interval.
Bobby Dunn’s corner was met by David Agbontohoma in the middle, who stooped low to head into the bottom corner.
And the Owls edged in front ten minutes after the restart through midfielder Will Trueman.
From a Barnsley attack, Wednesday struck on the counter with Bailey Cadamarteri surging forward before playing inside for Trueman, whose half volley looped into the air and in off Reds keeper Jamie Searle, who may have done better with the attempt.
