Behaviour reminder

20 December 2012

Following unsavoury incidents that took place at Oakwell during the Owls’ Championship game at Barnsley last weekend, it is with regret that the club again finds itself under an FA investigation.

This relates to scenes of disorder evident in the away section of the ground when Wednesday scored the only goal of the game, together with the ignition of fireworks around the same time.

Once again, a small minority of supporters have soured the good name of the club, and SWFC have pledged full cooperation with the FA investigation.

Consequently, SWFC officials are working in tandem with South Yorkshire Police and Barnsley FC to identify and take to task those responsible, who will be dealt with accordingly in line with club policy.

All supporters are reminded that any form of anti social behaviour is unacceptable and will be roundly condemned as unbefitting of a family club such as Sheffield Wednesday.

If you would like to report any incident of concern, please contact Hillsborough Stadium Control by text on 07963 138580 or by telephone on 0871 9009721.

Thank you for your cooperation.
