Following the success of Terry Curran’s visit to Hillsborough in October to sign copies of his autobiography ‘Regrets of a Football Maverick’, the Owls legend will be back in the Owls Megastore again on Thursday 13 December between 5.00pm and 8.00pm.
TC, now 57, starred for Jack Charlton’s Wednesday for three seasons after dropping down two divisions from Southampton to join the club he supported from childhood.
He won the Third Division’s Golden Boot prize for scoring 24 goals in 1979 and was, of course, Man of the Match in the 4-0 Boxing Day defeat of the Blades. Terry was voted Wednesday’s all-time cult hero in a recent Football Focus poll and his version of ‘Singing the Blues’ still resonates around Hillsborough today!
TC’s rollercoaster story, written with John Brindley and published by Skipton-based Vertical Editions at £16.99, is full of goals and giggles from football back in the day.
Supporters can now purchase their own copy from the Megastore, good book shops and internet retailers.
