Team news

Owls: Dave Jones has a full squad available for the trip to Huddersfield but has hinted there may be changes with fixtures coming thick and fast over the festive period.

Jose Semedo is back available for selection having fully recovered from a knee injury, while Jay Bothroyd, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury, could feature.

Huddersfield: Defender Joel Lynch is back from suspension for Huddersfield and could play a part in the Yorkshire derby.

Striker Alan Lee will serve the final game of his three-match ban, while Calum Woods and Danny Ward are both doubts after picking up knocks against Blackpool on Boxing Day.

Midfielder Oscar Gobern (ankle) will miss out on Saturday.

View from the dugout

Dave Jones said: "We will go there with plenty of confidence but we've never been short of confidence in any of our games this season. Maybe some of the luck we have missed out on over the past two months is catching up with us."

Simon Grayson said: "You want another game to come along quickly after a poor performance and this is a local derby that will be played in front of a big crowd. Sheffield Wednesday are on a good run of form and we know this won’t be an easy game."
