Team news

Owls: Sheffield Wednesday will be without Chris O'Grady for the trip to the City Ground this weekend.

The striker is sidelined with a foot injury as is defender Reda Johnson.

On a positive note for the Owls, Chris Lines is back in contention for a place in the squad.

The midfielder has been out since sustaining a groin injury in pre-season but could figure on Saturday.

Forest: Striker Simon Cox is a doubt for the weekend after he injured his foot in the Republic of Ireland's defeat at home to Greece on Wednesday..

Midfielder Adlene Guedioura, who was in action for Algeria in midweek, is expected to be available.

Dan Harding remains a doubt with a hamstring injury but Daniel Ayala may return after a four-match lay-off with a similar problem.

View from the dugout

Dave Jones said: "There is a stat that says three teams in this division are under-performing based on how many chances they create and we are one of them. We are creating plenty in the final third, and we know that, but we need to start putting more of those chances away."

Sean O'Driscoll said: "Our back four is something we need to get sorted quickly. We lost Sam Hutchinson when he was doing well. We have had to switch Greg Halford between right-back and left-back. We had an injury to Daniel Ayala, which meant Elliott Ward had to come in on loan and we are changing things all the time."
