Team news
Owls: Chris O'Grady could be back in contention on Tuesday. The striker has been sidelined with a foot injury but could play a part against Watford.
Midfielder Chris Lines stored 25 minutes under his belt at the weekend against Leicester and could feature again in midweek.
Meanwhile, Miguel Llera is available for selection having served his one-match suspension at the weekend.
Watford: Almen Abdi (dislocated shoulder) and John Eustace (back) look set to miss out on the trip to Hillsborough.
Lloyd Doyley, who has racked up over 350 appearances for the Hornets, is also a doubt with a calf strain.
Nyron Nosworthy (hamstring) is unlikely to be involved.

View from the dugout:
Dave Jones said: "These players are better than where they are at the moment and they need to believe that. I believe that we are good enough to get out of it."
Gianfranco Zola said: "We are a team with a lot of young players and we have a lot of players from abroad. We are all learning about the Championship.
"If you ask me where we can be at the end of the season, I don't know, but I'm sure we can do well."
