Sheffield Wednesday are encouraging fans to get behind Non-League Day on Saturday 13 October.
With Wednesday not in action this weekend due to the international break, why not support Non-League Day by going to a local game near you?
Non-League Day has enjoyed plenty of success and coverage in previous years, and has secured the patronage of Martin Tyler for this year’s event.
Clubs within a close radius of Hillsborough – in particular Sheffield FC, Frickley Athletic, Ossett Albion, Buxton and Matlock Town are just some of the clubs hosting matches on Saturday.
Richard Dorman from nonleagueday.co.uk said: “Many clubs within a close radius of Wednesday - in Sheffield and across South Yorkshire - are run solely by volunteers and rely heavily on goodwill for their survival.
“It would be great to see fans of Sheffield Wednesday at these games and support Non-League Day.”
