Owls academy product Cameron Dawson has been included in the England Under-18 squad that will face Italy on Wednesday.
The international fixture is set to take place at Mansfield’s One Call Stadium this Wednesday with kick-off at 7.30pm.
The 17-year-old received a late call-up earlier this week having impressed between the sticks for the SWFC Development Squad this season.
England Under-18s Head Coach Noel Blake said: “At this stage of their development, it’s important that our players experience playing against as many different styles and situations that they might find themselves in. This is very much part of the pathway that will hopefully take them to the Under-19s, Under-20s, Under-21s and the Seniors in time.”
