Sheffield Wednesday is offering budding young footballers the chance to enhance their soccer skills this October half term.
The club’s community programme is kicking off its Autumn Soccer Camps on Monday 29 October with children of all abilities, aged between five and 14, able to join in the full week of fun.
This follows the huge success seen at the Summer Camps which attracted more than 250 children.
The kids enjoyed getting involved in team building activities, playing in mini tournaments and even received a surprise visit from Owls players Mark Beevers and Arron Jameson who answers all their footballing questions.
Ryan Brody, aged ten, attends regularly along with his younger brother Josh.
He said: “I really enjoy the camps and so does my little brother because they are fun, we have made lots of new friends and I think I’m a lot better player because of the things I have learnt.”
This month camps are taking place at three locations; the Owls Training Ground, Greenhill Primary School and Retford Oaks School, at a price of £15 per day or £45 for the full week.
There is also a goalkeeping school at the SWFC Training Ground for all those youngsters dreaming of one day wearing the Owls No1 jersey. This runs on Thursday 1 November and Friday 2 November for £25.
