The Owls Under-18s came out on top in a lively encounter on the road against Coventry on Saturday winning 4-3.
Wednesday were unstoppable in the opening period and stormed into a 4-0 lead.
Sean Mullen broke the deadlock after 20 minutes and added a second for Wednesday five minutes later to make it 2-0.
Having dominated the early possession, Emmanuel Dieseruvwe made it 3-0 and the game was all but over four minutes before the interval when Wale Ayoola added a fourth.
The home side came out with more purpose after half time and scored three times within the space of 20 minutes.
But the Owls were able to hold onto their one-goal lead to post their second win of the season.
