Wednesdayites based north of the border have formed a new fans’ group which is now up and running as of last month.
The Scottish Owls have members from all across Scotland from the Highlands down to the border and the supporters’ group aims to organise travel to both home and away games.
Founder member Ian Murdoch said: “I kept meeting people up here who were Owls fans and decided that there must be enough of us to start our own club.”
The Scottish Owls’ first official journey down to Hillsborough will be on Saturday 22 September for the Championship clash against Bolton Wanderers.
