The Sheffield Wednesday Under-18s came back from a goal down to post a 2-1 win over Derby County on Saturday.
The Rams took the lead after 25 minutes but Wednesday hit back before the break and levelled through Wale Ayoola.
The striker cut inside from the right and thundered home his strike across the Derby keeper to restore parity.
The goal had buoyed the Owls who came out after the interval the stronger of the two sides and duly took the lead just after the hour.
Following a scramble in the Rams’ area, Nick Hague headed home the Owls’ winning goal as the Under-18s registered their first win of the new season.
