Down to business

26 April 2013

The Owls held an exclusive dinner for the local business community this week at Hillsborough, which culminated in an enlightening Q&A with chairman Milan Mandaric and manager Dave Jones.

In-between, there were speeches from Master Cutler Neil MacDonald to mark the 100th anniversary of stainless steel in the city of its origin and David Vernon-Edwards, Director of the Children’s Hospital Charity.

Club partners GCI also gave a presentation on the advances in communications and internet technology.

The evening was attended by over 100 city delegates as the Owls continue to strengthen the club’s links and commitment to local businesses.
